The Castle Hill in Gniew

The Castle Hill in Gniew is, in fact, an extraordinary History Park.

It is made from not only the material heritage of medieval and modern architecture, but also a valuable heritage of culture, tradition, history and patriotism, enlivened by outstanding reenactors and animators. The heart of the History Park is Gniew Castle, a former fortress Teutonic Order, later the seat of starosts, hetman and kings, rebuilt and destroyed many times, today returning to its former glory thanks to its owners and patrons - the POLMLEK Group.

The Facility complies with the standards of protection for minors referred to in the Act of July 28, 2023.

A unique place where you spend time in the embrace of history. A place of knightly tournaments and mysteries from the past. At noon there is a cannon salute, if you are lucky you can fire a salute yourself! In the evening, a search for the ghost - you have to be careful not to end up in the torture chamber. Definitely recommended.

Atmospheric hotel, lots of attractions for guests, including a tour of the castle in the evening with lanterns, multimedia shows. A large swimming pool and a large selection of saunas. Service baaavery polite, so normal, genuine - which rarely happens. We felt like special guests. The food... DELICIOUS!!! We will come back here again in the summer time. :)

Great conditions, room comfortable, clean. The hotel in the castle has its own unique atmosphere. Breakfast bardo tasty and very varied. We also took advantage of the pool and sauna, which was great entertainment. Staff helpful and very helpful.

The castle is truly impressive. Beautiful views. The well-kept grounds and proximity to the Market Square make it hard to get bored here even for a few days. Plenty of attractions for the young and old in high season. Shows of knightly battles, concerts under the town hall and charity runs. I really enjoyed it.
